A Grieving Nation
We live in a world full of fatherless children…
Today an overwhelming feeling of grief came over me. I asked God why I had randomly begun to feel this way, then He placed two people on my heart. I realized that what these two had in common was that they both had lost their earthly fathers recently. My initial instinct was to pray for them, but it wasn’t until I arrived home after work that God began to speak to me a little deeper about the subject. In the blog post, “Investment”, in my dream there was a father and two children whom the father had lost to a desire he had given them. I explained how the father symbolized our Heavenly Father, and the children, many of us. When you get a chance, go check it out, there’s a very important message within. Now, much like the father in that post, the loss of these two individuals’ earthly fathers, may they rest in peace, symbolizes the separation between us and our Heavenly Father. I was led to another Christian blog today, and though unrelated to my revelation, in regards to their subject matter, the author referred to God’s emotion as, “grief”. Instantly, it clicked for me. I was not led to this individual's blog by mistake. As I prayed on my way from work, I felt the Holy Spirit urging me not to ignore what I was feeling, so I said to God, “I’m feeling grief, and I don’t know why”. The Lord made sure I put a name to how I was feeling, so that when I came across the word somewhere else, it would stand out. God knew that was all I needed to receive this message for you all. Now without further ado, let’s get into it:
Here’s what the Holy Spirit allowed me to understand. The pain and suffering that many of you can’t seem to escape is due to your lack of relationship with our Heavenly Father. Without your knowledge you are experiencing grief due to the absence of your creator, and in most cases this spiritual longing has manifested itself as mental health complications. You may even want to refer to it as spiritual separation anxiety. That deep dark pit you can’t seem to climb yourself out of is due to the disconnect between you and Jesus Christ, blatant disobedience is what’s most likely driving a wedge between you both. Your spirit is suffocating, and the enemy will see to it that it dies as furthest away from Christ as possible, because that way, he’d have you forever, not because he loves you, but because he hates you just that much that he wishes for you to suffer as he inevitably will for eternity.
Your Heavenly Father is the only permanent solution to your pain and suffering, He is the only one who can reach down and pull you out of your pit. He wants to, but you have to allow Him to, you have to open your heart to Him. He’s given you free will, so it will take you choosing His will and His way for your life in order to claim the salvation He has for you. When you read this, don’t ignore it, don’t wait until tomorrow, or the next day, take hold of the promises of the Lord, and watch as He heals you right in front of the ones who hurt you, right in front of the ones who desires to see you drown. You don’t have to grieve any longer, God is waiting for you, with His arms wide open, to come home.
I rebuke every lie lurking through your mind in the name of Jesus, you are forgiven and you are more than enough, because He (Jesus) is enough, and it is not by your works, but by His grace that you receive salvation. Today is the day you walk in the freedom the Lord has for you. Who the Lord sets free, is free indeed, grieve no longer, your Heavenly Father is alive and well, and He is waiting for you. Yes, you…it’s you that He wants, and He is not a human that He would lie. Come home.
If you’re ready and I pray you are, say this prayer with me…
Lord God, I come to you today realizing that I am a sinner who needs saving. I’m sorry for all that I have said, thought, or have done, that was not pleasing to you. Father, please help me to live righteously according to your word. I’ve tried life my way, and I believe that through you there is so much better. So Father, today, I give myself to you. Today I choose faith over fear, I choose your truths over the enemy’s many lies. Father, create in me a clean heart according to Psalms 51:10. Father, your word says that if we declare with our mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in our heart that God raised him from the dead, we will be saved. So Father by faith, I declare in this very moment and for the rest of my life that Jesus is Lord, I believe that He was sent on this earth to die for our many sins before I was even born, and I believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead. I thank you for sending your one and only son for my sake, I thank you for all of your grace and mercy, and I thank you for the gift of salvation. I love you Father.
I pray all this in Jesus name, Amen!
…
Congratulations my love! You should be so proud of yourself!
