Overcoming Addiction

Father,

I ask for your forgiveness, I’m sorry for falling short of your glory, I’m sorry for continuously falling prey to [Specify Addiction]. Please Father lead me down a more righteous path, a path that is in alignment with your will for my life. Lord I know that in you, there’s freedom; in you there’s victory. Father I come to you today, asking for deliverance from [Specify Addiction]. Today, I realize that alone I am weak because my flesh is unwilling to yield to correction, but I know that all things are possible through you, and that even this [Specify addiction] is no match for the Almighty God of the universe. Father your word says that your grace is sufficient, for your power is made perfect in our weaknesses. So today, I ask that according to 2 Corinthians 12:9, your power becomes perfect in the midst of my weakness, for I believe that when I am weak, then I am strong because of your grace. Thank you Father, for I believe that the miracle of my deliverance has already been set in motion.

I love you, and pray all this by faith in Jesus name Amen!
